When You Pray

As you bow your head today

And you pray in Jesus name,

Will you thin

k to pray for others

With their sorrow and their pain.

Others  with their heartaches

And others with their care

Will you think of all their trials

As our Father hears your prayers.

For as you take the burden

Of some soul to God above,

Your reward will be the blessing

Of our own Dear Saviour’s love.
